The New Louis Erard x Konstantin Chaykin Time Eater Tourbillon
A playful and technically advanced Wristmon tells time while taking a bite of it.

The Louis Erard x Konstantin Chaykin Time Eater Tourbillon marks the evolution in the ongoing collaboration between the Swiss indie brand and master watchmaker Konstantin Chaykin. Building on the success of the previous “Time Eater” regulator models, part of Chaykin’s expressive Wristmons universe, the new model introduces a tourbillon with regulator display to the series (a classic of Erard’s collections), enhancing the horological appeal of the watch while preserving the distinctive design codes that define Chaykin’s anthropomorphic creations.
The new Erard x Chaykin Time Eater Tourbillon comes in a polished 50m water-resistant stainless steel case measuring 42mm in diameter and 12.25mm thick, with a domed sapphire crystal and Chaykin’s signature crown. The dial composition includes a silver-toned lower plate with a sunburst wave pattern, an anthracite circular satin-finished hour flange, and a red flange surrounding the tourbillon, with a set of teeth-like markers, an intentional nod to the “Time Eater” name.
The unmistakable Wristmon “face,” here with a single central eye (hour indicator at 12 o’clock), a broad, toothed mouth at 6 o’clock with a 60-second tourbillon, where the red tongue spins to mark the seconds, and a rebellious central minute hand is framed by green-coloured minutes track, which reinforces the playful yet controlled chaos that defines the Wristmon family.
The watch is powered by the manual-winding tourbillon calibre BCP T02, developed by movement specialist Olivier Mory. The movement measures 31.8mm in diameter and 6.5mm thick; it operates at 21,600 vibrations/hour and offers a solid 100-hour power reserve. The movement, visible through the sapphire caseback, which is engraved with the watch’s limited edition number, is decorated with circular Côtes de Genève.
The Time Eater Tourbillon is offered in two limited editions, each with its own colour signature. The Louis Erard edition features a green minute ring and is limited to 78 pieces, while the Chaykin edition has a blue minute ring and is limited to 28 pieces, sold exclusively through Chaykin.
The Louis Erard version (photographed in this article) is delivered on a black toad leather strap with green stitching and rabbit leather lining with quick-release spring bars and polished steel pin buckle. The price is CHF 19,900 (excl. tax). For more information, please visit louiserard.com and konstantin-chaykin.com.
