Launched in 2021, the Tonda PF collection introduced a new vision of contemporary haute horlogerie built around restraint, proportion and what CEO Guido Terreni calls “private luxury”, watches designed to be lived with rather than constantly replaced. Among the first models was the Tonda PF Micro-Rotor, a slim automatic watch with a date display. The Micro-Rotor was later refined into a no-date version with the Tonda PF Micro-Rotor No Date featuring a Grain d’Orge Golden Siena dial (2024), allowing the dial’s texture and proportions to speak more clearly. Then, in 2025, a platinum iteration and steel and rose gold followed, both with a stone blue dial. For 2026, Parmigiani Fleurier expands the line with a new Agave Blue dial, offered in stainless steel with a platinum bezel and full 18k rose gold.

Both versions retain the proportions of the Micro-Rotor series: a 40mm diameter and an impressively slim 7.8mm thickness. The case design remains unmistakably Tonda PF, with softly sculpted lugs, alternating satin-brushed and polished surfaces, and the signature finely knurled bezel, made in platinum 950 for the steel version to highlight the watch’s cool, contemporary tone, and in matching rose gold for the gold-cased reference. A screw-down crown ensures the 100m water-resistance.

The Agave Blue dial sits somewhere between blue, green and grey. The surface is hand-guilloché with Parmigiani’s Grain d’Orge motif, for depth and movement without visual noise. Applied indices, rhodium-plated on the steel version, rose gold on the gold model, and skeletonised delta-shaped hands maintain excellent legibility. The absence of a date keeps the layout intentionally clean.

Powering both models is the in-house calibre PF703, a slim automatic movement with a recessed platinum 950 micro-rotor. Measuring just 3.07mm thick, it delivers a 48-hour power reserve and operates at 21,600 vibrations/hour. Visible through the sapphire caseback, the movement is finished to high standards, with Côtes de Genève, perlage and bevelled bridges.

The watch is fitted with integrated bracelets that match the case material and are closed with folding clasps. The Tonda PF Micro-Rotor Agave Blue models join the permanent collection. The steel model retails for CHF 23,700 and the gold model for CHF 58,000. For further information, please visit Parmigiani.com.
