The Oris x LFP Divers Sixty-Five Limited Edition

A three-way collaboration involving a children’s football tournament for a good cause.

Oris introduces a limited edition of its Divers Sixty-Five created in collaboration with France’s Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) and the National Convention of Child Protection Associations charity (CNAPE). The model chosen to promote the annual children’s football tournament is a classic 38mm Divers Sixty-Five powered by an automatic movement – not to be confused with the recently released 38mm Sixty-Five model running on the brand’s proprietary calibre 400.

The CNAPE is a federation of 200 associations working to protect children at risk across France. It has been staging the annual football tournament – Tournoi des Défenseurs de l’Enfance – with the LFP for the past four years. To raise awareness and generate funds, the tournament gets the children to play with their favourite footballers on professional pitches. It might not come as a surprise to learn that Oris has been the LFP’s official timekeeper since 2022.

This Divers Sixty-Five comes in a 38mm stainless steel case. The 60-minute scale on the unidirectional rotating sandblasted matte bezel is in relief with polished numerals and markers, and the inverted triangle at noon has a luminous pip. The screw-down crown and caseback ensure the 100m water-resistance. The case is finished with brushed surfaces and polished bevels extending to the 3-link steel bracelet and its folding clasp with push buttons.

The dark blue dial has circular and rectangular indices treated with Super-LumiNova. The three central hands are also luminescent, ensuring visibility in low-light conditions. The date window is at 6 o’clock. To commemorate the charitable calling of the watch, the typeface and colours are identical to those used by the football tournament – Les Défenseurs de l’Enfance. The Oris logo, the Swiss Made, and the 10BAR/100M rating all feature the tournament typeface. Adding a touch of colour, the words ‘water resistant’ are picked out in the signature colours of the children’s football match.

Powering the LFP Limited Edition is the Oris 733 calibre, a modified version of the reliable Sellita SW 200-1 automatic movement with a 41-hour power reserve and a stop-seconds function.

The Oris LFP is a limited edition of 1,000 numbered pieces and retails for CHF 2,500. For more information, please consult Oris.ch.
