Created with American retailer Exquisite Timepieces, this limited edition brings a vivid pink dial to Doxa´s compact dive watch, taking its colours from the skies above Florida’s Gulf Coast after sunset.
Doxa has long used colour to distinguish its dive watches, with bright orange, turquoise, yellow and deep blue among the signature shades of its SUB collection. The new SUB 200T Afterglow adds a new one: a pink sunray dial inspired by the brief period after sunset when the sky above Naples, Florida, takes on shades of pink, violet and magenta. Made together with Naples-based retailer Exquisite Timepieces, the limited edition celebrates the natural scenery surrounding the retailer’s hometown. It also gives the SUB 200T, introduced in 2024 as a more compact member of the Doxa dive-watch family, a particularly vivid identity.
The Afterglow retains the SUB 200 T’s dimensions, with a 39mm stainless steel case measuring 10.7mm thick and 41.5mm lug to lug. The brushed case features a unidirectional rotating bezel featuring Doxa’s no-decompression scale and a luminous dot at the top. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the dial, and the solid caseback features an image of the Florida peninsula. The case is 200m water-resistant.
The luminous pink dial features a sunray finish that creates changing reflections as light moves across its surface. As mentioned, the colour was selected to evoke the afterglow over the Gulf of Mexico, just as the sun has disappeared below the horizon. This Doxa edition keeps the display familiar, with an oversized minute hand, block-shaped hour markers, a crosshair and an outlined and bevelled date window at 3 o’clock.
As with the regular SUB 200T series, the watch is powered by the Sellita SW200-1 élaboré automatic calibre, covered by a solid caseback. Operating at 28,800 vibrations/hour, it provides a 38-hour power reserve and displays hours, minutes, central seconds and the date.
The SUB 200T Afterglow is worn on Doxa’s stainless steel bead-of-rice bracelet. A folding clasp with a wetsuit extension lets you adjust the bracelet for use over a diving suit. The Doxa SUB 200T Afterglow is a limited edition of 50, available exclusively through Exquisite Timepieces, both online and at the retailer’s booth during the Windup Watch Fair 2026 in NYC.
