Audemars Piguet introduced the Code 11.59 in 2019, emerging as a contemporary AP-style expression of classic watchmaking. Over the years, the line has matured, expanded and reviewed its proportions. Introduced in 2023, the 38mm case offered a more compact and versatile interpretation of the Code 11.59 design. In early 2026, the brand presents two new Code 11.59 Selfwinding references in 18k pink gold, each exploring a different mood.

Both new models come in the now-familiar 38mm Code 11.59 case, whose complex construction remains one of the most distinctive in modern watchmaking. A slim, polished round bezel frames the dial, while the octagonal case middle is visible only from the side. The lugs, welded to the bezel and caseback, float above the caseband and are finished with alternating satin-brushed surfaces and polished bevels. Measuring 9.6 mm thick, these new references benefit from notably slender proportions, reinforcing their dress-oriented character. Water-resistance is 30m, in keeping with the model’s intent.

Two dial versions are offered. The first opts for a deep black tone paired with a black alligator strap, creating a classic, almost formal presence. The second is lighter and warmer, featuring a silver-toned dial. Both dials share the Code 11.59 signature motif, developed with Swiss guilloché artisan Yann von Kaenel: a textured surface composed of concentric circles and fine grooves that ripple outward from the centre. Applied 18k pink gold hour markers and hands are treated with luminescent material, ensuring legibility. A framed date window is positioned at 3 o’clock.

Powering these two references is Audemars Piguet’s calibre 5900, a modern automatic movement developed for the brand´s slimmer cases. Measuring 3.9mm thick, the movement beats at 28,800 vibrations/hour and offers a 60-hour power reserve. Through the sapphire caseback, the finishing can be admired, including Geneva stripes, circular graining, polished bevels and a 22k pink gold oscillating weight.

The black-dial version is worn on a black alligator strap with large square scales, while the silver-dial reference is paired with a brown calfskin strap. Both models are fitted with traditional pin buckles in pink gold and priced at CHF 29,800.
