The Hublot Big Bang Tourbillon Novak Djokovic GOAT Edition, A Trilogy Fit for the Champion
A living chronicle of greatness as it is still being written.
Hublot‘s partnership with Novak Djokovic has always felt more than a simple ambassador deal; it is a meeting of champions. The Greatest of All Times, the 24-time Grand Slam winner and 2024 Olympic gold medallist, joined the brand’s family in 2021, and in 2024, the Big Bang Unico Novak Djokovic, made from recycled tennis racquets and Lacoste polos, set a new precedent for the Art of Fusion and marked the first collaborative release. Now, Hublot launches a trilogy of exceptional Big Bang Tourbillon Novak Djokovic GOAT Edition watches in celebration of Djokovic’s historic 101 career titles.
The sport’s surface inspires each model. The blue edition represents hard courts, limited to 72 pieces; the orange stands for clay, in 21 pieces; and the green, the rarest of all, celebrates grass-court victories in just 8 exemplars. What’s important is that future wins will add to this evolving collection, so it’s history in the making.
The 44mm cases are crafted from a unique composite made of Djokovic’s recycled Lacoste polos and Head racquets, fused into marbled shades of blue, orange, or green. This lightweight, high-performance material is paired with a Titaplast container, a cutting-edge polymer with titanium-like strength and a soft, matte finish. A Gorilla Glass crystal (an innovative, transparent, and scratch-resistant glass ceramic used to make smartphone touchscreens) replaces traditional sapphire, providing durability and reduced weight, while the six titanium screws on the bezel are cleverly shaped like miniature tennis balls. The watches weigh just 56 grams yet remain capable of withstanding real match-play conditions. Water resistance is limited to 30m.
The dial of the Big Bang Tourbillon Novak Djokovic GOAT Edition looks technical, architectural, and very expressive. The transparent sapphire crystal offers a full view of the movement beneath. It features six minimalist hour markers, each satin-finished and filled with a thick, three-dimensional coating of Super-LumiNova. The skeletonised hour and minute hands get the same treatment, floating above the openworked structure. Flashes of colour appear in the anodised aluminium tourbillon cage, available in blue, orange, or green to match the case.
The Tourbillon Novak Djokovic is powered by the MHUB6035 Manufacture Automatic calibre with a tourbillon regulator. The openworked movement features a lattice mainplate designed like the strings of a tennis racquet, a single, laser-engraved piece 0.55mm thick, finished in black PVD with Djokovic’s “ND1” signature. Beneath it, the barrel’s rochet is finished with yellow-green lacquer and textured to resemble a tennis ball. The 22K red gold micro-rotor spins above a transparent sapphire bridge, and the movement provides a 72-hour power reserve.
The straps are made of white calfskin leather, embossed like racquet grip tape, lined in blue, orange, or green leather to match the case, and secured with a Velcro fastener and an anodised aluminium buckle. A white rubber strap with a titanium deployant clasp is also included. The price for each version of the Hublot Big Bang Tourbillon Novak Djokovic GOAT Edition is EUR 115,000.
