Frederique Constant Celebrates its 37th Anniversary with The Elements Collection
37 special anniversary sets with five complications, four of these with fascinating stone dials.
Frederique Constant turns 37 this year and celebrates with 37 sets containing the manufacture’s emblematic complications. Founded in 1988, Frederique Constant’s reputation for mechanical watches at accessible prices is firmly entrenched in the brand’s DNA. The top five complications are now available for collectors to enjoy in the 37 sets comprising The Elements Collection, featuring colourful and on-trend stone dials that ensure no two references are alike.
Marking the brand’s second manufacture movement, the Classic Moonphase Date Manufacture was revisited in 2024 with the new calibre FC-716 with an extended power reserve of 72 hours. The 37th anniversary edition features a vibrant turquoise dial and comes in a 40mm steel case with a thickness of 11.98mm. Paired with a blue alligator leather strap, the Moonphase Date is a limited edition of 716 pieces, 37 of which are presented in The Elements set; the remainder will be available individually in Q1 2026 for CHF 4,895.
The Classic Worldtimer Manufacture was launched in 2012, a sophisticated world timer with an economy price tag that has proved highly successful for the brand. Offering the time in 24 cities at a glance with day and night indicators, the user-friendly nature of the watch is that all the functions are controlled at the crown. The case retains its three-piece construction with its 42mm diameter and a height of 12.55mm, but now features a rich blue lapis lazuli dial. Like the Moonphase, 37 models of the Worldtimer form part of The Elements set, and the remaining 681 will be available individually in Q1 2026 for CHF 5,395.
The Classic Perpetual Calendar Manufacture, released in 2016, garnered attention in the watch industry with its remarkably affordable price tag. Revisited in a smaller 40mm case size this year, with a thickness of 12.1mm and powered by the new calibre FC-776, the power reserve has been extended from 38 to 72 hours. For The Elements Set, the QP dons a dark green heliotrope stone dial. The perpetual calendar is a strictly limited edition of 37 pieces with a retail value of CHF 10,995.
Next up is the more contemporary case style of the Highlife collection fitted with the brand’s Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar movement. Released in 2018 inside a Classic collection case, the sophisticated duet of complications crossed over into the sportier Highlife habitat in a 41mm steel case with a thickness of 12.65mm and 100m water-resistance. Although it forms part of The Elements set, it does not have a mineral stone dial; instead, it flaunts an openworked dial with burgundy counters and a Heart Beat opening at 6 o’clock for the 60-second tourbillon. The watch comes with a steel bracelet and two additional rubber straps. It too is a limited edition of 37 pieces and has a retail value of CHF 26,995.
Last but not least, the Classic Tourbillon Manufacture, released in 2008 and revisited over the years, recently turned up in a 39mm case with a thickness of 11.14mm and a gorgeous light blue mother-of-pearl dial. Fitted with a dramatic inky black onyx dial for The Collection, the eye is naturally drawn to the tourbillon at 6 o’clock. Limited to 37 pieces, the watch has a retail value of CHF 15,995.
The five watches of the 37 Collection Sets are presented in a wooden box and are expected to retail for approximately CHF 64,000. More information at frederiqueconstant.com.
