The New Gerald Charles Maestro GC Sport Tennis in Optic Yellow

A lightweight, performance-driven timepiece that retains the brand's signature elegance.

| By Denis Peshkov | 1 min read |

The latest addition to the Gerald Charles Maestro GC Sport series, this Maestro GC Sport Tennis, is built for the court with a distinctively shaped, multi-component Maestro case crafted from dark-blasted Grade 5 titanium. Measuring 39mm x 41mm with a slim 9mm profile, it features sapphire crystals on both the front and back, offers 100m of water resistance, and has a thoughtfully placed crown at 9 o’clock—designed to stay out of the way during intense play. True to its sporting intent, the watch is engineered for performance, weighing just 64 grams and built to withstand up to 5G of shock.

The dial is finished in a vibrant Optic Yellow with a gradient effect; it features a white minute track along the periphery. Arabic numerals at 3, 9, and 12 o’clock, alongside baton-shaped indices, ensure clarity, while the step-framed date aperture at 6 o’clock adds a touch of practicality. The indices and the baton-style hour and minute hands are filled with white Super-LumiNova, glowing green in low light for optimal visibility.

The Maestro GC Sport Tennis is powered by an ultra-thin (3.7mm) automatic movement with a 50-hour power reserve—crafted by Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier and specifically adapted for the GC Sport series. The exhibition case back reveals meticulous finishing, including colimaçon, Côtes de Genève, and perlage on the bridges, along with a central rotor featuring Gerald Charles’ signature Honeycomb design and a special 25th Anniversary logo.

Completing the look is an Optic Yellow Velcro strap with a textured finish secured by an integrated dark-blasted titanium buckle. Limited to just 200 pieces, the Gerald Charles Maestro GC Sport Tennis is priced at €17,600.

  1. Date not centered in window. I still don’t understand how this happens with pieces at this price (or any price, really).
