The Brellum Wyvern GMT LE.1 Ghost Chronometer (Live Pics & Price)
Going in stealth mode with the brand's sports traveller's watch.
Brellum is an independent watchmaking brand created by Sebastien Muller in the Swiss Jura, near Porrentruy. Its first model, the Duobox, is a no-nonsense, vintage-inspired chronograph. Powered by the tried-and-tested Valjoux 7750, it is offered at a fair price thanks to the brand’s direct-to-customer distribution. Sebastien Muller subsequently added several models to the collection, reinterpreting classic functions with, for instance, the Wyvern GMT presented last summer. With the holiday season fast approaching, Brellum now introduces a 33-piece limited edition of its travel watch, adding black DLC coating to the case while maintaining its user-friendly functionality. Meet the Brellum Wyvern GMT LE.1 Ghost Chronometer.
Originally presented last summer in three dial colours, the Brellum Wyvern GMT now comes in a dark package. The Ghost limited edition offers all the attributes of the first models, but its 42mm stainless steel case has been black DLC-coated. The multi-level dial features diamond-cut indexes fitted with luminescent material for legibility in all conditions. In line with the sporty look of the watch, the water resistance is rated 100 metres or 10 atm.
Just like the other Brellum Wyvern GMT, the Ghost is powered by the BR-893-GMT automatic calibre whose precision has been officially certified by the COSC. Based on the ETA 2893/2, it displays the hours, minutes, seconds, a second time zone on 24-hours and the date. It runs at 28,800 vibrations/hour and boasts a 42-hour power reserve when fully wound. The stop-seconds mechanism allows for precise time-setting. It is visible via the sapphire exhibition caseback. The decoration is traditional and the rotor is personalized with the logo of the brand and skeletonized.
The Brellum Wyvern GMT LE.1 Ghost Chronometer comes on an integrated black leather strap. It is secured to the wrist with a black DLC-coated steel folding buckle. A limited-edition of 33 pieces, it is available exclusively online at the brand’s website. Price is set at EUR 2,350, CHF 2,190 or USD 2,390.
