The New Steel Brellum Pandial Power Reserve Chronometer LE Black

The indie brand revisits its chronograph with a fully black dial, DLC bezel and steel bracelet, retaining the COSC-certified 7750-based calibre.

Independent and deliberately small-scale, Brellum is known (and respected) for following a straightforward formula: strict quality controls, every movement is COSC-certified, and annual watch production is capped at 299 pieces. The brand’s Pandial chronograph series features a tachymeter bezel and telemeter scale, date indication and might be considered the brand’s sportier line. After the 2025 Pandial Power Reserve Chronometer LE in steel and the black DLC titanium version that followed, the latest edition keeps the same mechanical foundation and predominantly black treatment, now in stainless steel and on a bracelet.

This new Pandial reference measures 43mm in diameter and 11.7mm thick without its crystals, 15.9mm overall. The 316L stainless-steel case combines polished and satin-finished surfaces, while the tachymeter bezel receives black DLC treatment. As with previous Brellum Duobox-derived watches, both sides feature box-shaped sapphire crystals, with anti-reflective treatment and anti-UV protection on the dial side. Water resistance is 100m.

Last year’s Pandial Power Reserve initial edition used a contrasting panda configuration; the Black Titanium offered a stealthy, contemporary design, with a DLC-coated case and all-black, multi-level dial. The new version keeps the full-black dial, the same as on the titanium edition, but the steel case and bracelet create a different impression.

The multi-level dial remains busy but structured, with running seconds at 9 o’clock, the 30-minute chronograph counter at 12 and the 12-hour totaliser at 6, with an integrated date window. The power-reserve indicator sits at 3 o’clock. A telemeter scale surrounds the dial, printed on the rehaut. Diamond-cut polished indices and hands are filled with Super-LumiNova. Touches of red appear on the tip of the central chronograph seconds hand and the power reserve subdial, without disturbing the darker colour scheme.

The watch is powered by Brellum’s BR-750RM, an automatic chronometer based on the Valjoux 7750. The calibre operates at 28,800 vibrations/hour and provides 46 hours of power reserve. Through the domed sapphire caseback, the movement exhibits Brellum’s familiar finishing treatment, including perlage, Geneva stripes, blued screws and a gold-coated, individually numbered rotor.

The watch is worn on a five-link stainless-steel bracelet, polished and satin-finished, and is secured with a deployment clasp. Limited to 33 pieces, the new Brellum Pandial Power Reserve Chronometer is available exclusively from Brellum. It is priced at CHF 3,390 including taxes, or CHF 3,135 for export.
