The New Bianchet B 1.618 UltraFino Carbon
An evolution of the earlier series, this new release pairs an ultralight carbon case with a carbon bracelet.

Bianchet, an independent watchmaking brand founded in 2021 and based in La Chaux-de-Fonds, has quickly established a distinctive identity with its modern tonneau-shaped designs. Earlier this year, the brand introduced the B 1.618 UltraFino, a milestone model release that brought several firsts: an ultra-thin case, a metal bracelet, and an automatic movement. Now, to mark the beginning of the Geneva Watch Week, the family-owned company unveils the next evolution of the UltraFino series – a timepiece crafted from monobloc carbon, complete with a matching carbon bracelet.
The Bianchet UltraFino Carbon features a sleek 40mm case that’s just 8.9mm thick, weighing 32 grams – 62 grams when paired with the carbon bracelet or 52 grams with the rubber strap. Despite its lightweight construction, the watch is robust; it offers 50m water resistance and can withstand shocks up to 5,000G. Staying true to Bianchet’s design philosophy, the UltraFino series follows the Golden Ratio (1.618), ensuring a harmonious blend of ergonomic comfort and modern engineering. A subtle pop of colour from the gasket, available in sky blue, red, or white, adds a dynamic, sporty touch.
The UltraFino Carbon is powered by the automatic openworked tourbillon calibre UT01 introduced earlier this year. Crafted from titanium, it features a gold rotor adorned with interlacing Fibonacci spirals. The movement is finished in black PVD, with the mainplate and bridges showcasing a refined mix of soft sandblasted textures and finely satin-brushed surfaces, highlighted by hand-polished chamfers. At 12 o’clock, the openworked suspended barrel delivers a 60-hour power reserve, and the tourbillon is positioned opposite, with the gear train on one side and the keyless works on the other. Time is indicated by the centrally mounted hands with coloured accents matching the rubber gasket.
The UltraFino Carbon comes with two straps: one is high-density carbon with a titanium buckle, and the additional one is natural vulcanized rubber with a titanium folding buckle. The price is CHF 65,500, taxes excluded. For more information, please visit www.bianchet.com.
