Piaget Polo Skeleton Gold Editions 2021

Presented in early 2021, the handsome Piaget Polo Skeleton represents the brand through and through. Ultra-thin, openworked, this exquisitely shaped watch already combined several key areas of expertise of the manufacture… with the notable exceptions of the language of gold and jewellery, as the watch was available only in steel! On the occasion of Watches & Wonders 2021, the brand now unveils four new versions with 18k gold cases and diamond setting.

One of only a handful of watch manufacturers equipped with its own gold foundry and precious metal case-making facility, Piaget has long been renowned for its expertise in crafting gold. Drawing on this savoir-faire, the brand now unveils four gold versions of its elegant Piaget Polo Skeleton.

The two first models are presented in 18k rose gold and diamond-set 18k white gold. These new editions use the same case as before, with dimensions that are identical to the steel versions – 42mm in diameter and 6.5mm in height. The bezel of the white gold version is set with 56 brilliant-cut diamonds for a weight of 1.59 carats. Like other Piaget Polo Skeleton, these new gold versions are powered by the elegant and architectural Calibre Piaget 1200S1, wound by with a micro-rotor. The 2.4mm thin skeletonized movement features a dark blue finishing contrasting with the warm colour of the case.
