The BR-05 was introduced in 2019 in 40mm as Bell & Ross’s answer to the luxury integrated bracelet sports watch trend, translating the BR-01’s cockpit instrument looks into a more contemporary, everyday design. In tune with contemporary trends for more compact, unisex diameters, Bell & Ross presented a 36mm version in 2025. The latest BR-05 features a sparkling aventurine dial enhanced with seven diamonds.

Rather than an exercise in mere shrinking, the 36mm case, with a slim height of 8.7mm, was rethought from head to toe to achieve balanced proportions. Upholding the sports watch mandate of a continuous flowing line integrating the case and bracelet, the first link of the bracelet forms part of the case. With its classic circle-within-a-square DNA, the square case has rounded corners and a raised bezel with four polished screws. The case is decorated with brushed surfaces and polished bevels, finishes that extend to the integrated bracelet with its folding clasp. Guards flank the screw-down crown to ensure the 100m water-resistance.

More poetic in nature, the new Blue Diamond Eagle has a blue aventurine glass dial with shimmering inclusions suggesting sparkling stars in a night sky. The dial, set with brilliant-cut diamonds as indices, also features seven different-sized diamonds on the dial forming the outline of the Eagle (Aquila) constellation. The largest diamond, positioned between 10 and 11 o’clock, represents the Eagle’s head and Altair, the brightest star in the constellation. Three medium-sized diamonds depict the wings and tail, and three additional diamonds complete the constellation’s outline. Mounted in a custom-made brass setting with four prongs, the diamonds are inserted into the drilled holes of the aventurine dial.

Hidden beneath the laser-engraved Aquila constellation on the caseback is the slim automatic BR-CAL.329 (Sellita SW-300) movement with a height of 3.6mm, a frequency of 28,800vph and a power reserve of 54 hours. The price of the BR-05 Blue Diamond Eagle is to be confirmed.
