French watchmaker Depancel introduces a new limited edition of its Autosport collection for the 2 Tours d’Horloge, a 24-hour endurance race for historic racing cars held at Circuit Paul Ricard. Created in 1992 by Éric Van de Vyver, the event brings together GTs, Touring Cars, Sport Prototypes and Sports 2000 in a non-stop race that tests drivers, machines and strategy, including through the night. Limited to 100 pieces, the new Autosport offers an alternative way to track hours spent on track.

The Autosport provides the familiar foundation for this new edition. The 316L stainless steel case measures 39mm in diameter, 12.6mm thick (11.2mm without its double-domed sapphire crystal) and 46mm lug to lug. The polished bezel contrasts with circular brushing on the lugs and horizontal brushing along the case sides, with polished upper edges. On the left, a plaque is reserved for the engraving of the watch’s limited edition number. An internal anti-reflective coating on the crystal preserves legibility. The sapphire caseback carries the 2 Tours d’Horloge logo. Water-resistance is 50m.

The dial combines different textures and finishes. Brushed surfaces contrast with textured subdials, applied hour markers and a peripheral minutes track. The special feature is a subdial at 3 o’clock, usually reserved for the month indication in the Autosport series. Now it carries two hour scales, from 1 to 12 and then 13 to 24 (in yellow), allowing the wearer to follow the progression of the race. At the end of each hour, pressing the 2 o’clock piston-head style pusher advances the hand to the next indication; it’s a month corrector put to alternative use. Away from the circuit, the 1-to-12 scale resumes its calendar role, displaying the month. The subdial at 9 o’clock indicates the day of the week, with Saturday and Sunday highlighted in yellow as a reference to the two event days.

Time is indicated by the central handset, with hours and minutes hands, and markers treated with Super-LumiNova. The central seconds hand adds another yellow accent to the mostly black-and-white appearance. The date window at 6 o’clock completes the calendar indications. The watch is powered by the automatic Miyota 9122, operating at 28,800 vibrations/hour and offering a 40-hour power reserve, with hacking seconds. This rotor features a radiator grille motif and Depancel’s shield emblem.

The watch is worn on a bull leather strap closed with a steel buckle or a stainless steel Beads of Rice bracelet. The Autosport 2 Tours d’Horloge is limited to 100 pieces, priced from EUR 795. Sales begin on November 5, 2026, at 4PM Paris time, ahead of the race on November 7-8. More information at Depancel.com.
