It’s a new year and we start with a new subject. A photo of the week, of course a photo of a watch or watch part, will be posted on Monochrome. We hope this will increase your pleasure of beautiful watches…

When surfing the internet, especially watch forums and blogs, I sometimes come across the most magnificent photos of watches or watch parts. Sometimes it’s a set of photos, sometimes just one photo. It can be a photo made by a professional photographer or made by an enthusiastic owner or aficionado. If you have suggestions, don’t hesitate to mail me or leave a message at the Monochrome Facebook page.

The first photo of Monochrome’s Weekly Watch Photo is made by Guy Lucas de Peslouan, a professional photographer, who made some magnificent photos of the Laurent Ferrier Tourbillon Double Spiral. This watch was elected Favorite Mens Watch in the recent Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Geneva.

A magnificent watch and I hope to share more about it after my visit to the Salon International de Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) and Geneva Time Ehibition (GTE) in Geneva. Here’s another photo of the Laurent Ferrier Tourbillon Double Spiral in all three available metals (rose, yellow and white gold), also made by Guy Lucas de Peslouan.
