Tudor Submariner for US Army?

Last week a friend bought this Tudor Subamriner ref. 7928.¬†Through his contacts at Rolex he was able to get more information about this rather ‘strange bird’. The seller had the idea this was a rare Tudor Submariner produced for the US Army. The information provided by Rolex in Switzerland actually supports what the seller told.

  1. jb says:

your watch is not from the army it is from the navy
given to the navy seal or also known back then as a FROGMAN back in the early 1960.
there is a very small number on it look it up on computer or thru rolex which is a quote a lesser
of Rolex if it is real
