For The Adventurer – a teaser of the new Roger Dubuis Pulsion

Roger Dubuis is lining up for the launch of another new collection. After last years introduction of the all new La Monégasque collection, this will be the year of the Pulsion collection.

They came up with four lifestyles for each of the three collections and now one for the new fourth collection. The Excalibur collection represents ‘The Warrior’ and the ladies collection is of course ‘Diva’. If you read our post about the launch of the La Monégasque collection, it’s no surprise that this collection stand for ‘The Gambler’.

This year they will introduce the Pulsion, which represents ‘The Adventurer’… We have only seen one very small photo appear on the Roger Dubuis Facebook page (see photo left) and that looks very promising!

It features some elements we have seen in the Excalibur collection, like the fully skeletonized dial with the Roger Dubuis signature tourbillon, that also featured in the La Monégasque Flying Tourbillon. The case does not have the same three lugs, but seems to have an integrated rubber strap. And a dive bezel, which promises possibly more dive watch action from Roger Dubuis.

Roger Dubuis launched a teaser video for the Pulsion collection, starring the French actor Tomer Sisley (who starred in Largo Winch).

We can’t wait to see this new collection! According to the video we must wait until January 20th, which is the last day of the SIIH 2012. we hope to be able to share some first photos sooner… In the mean while we can recommend reading this interview with Roger Dubuis’s new CEO Jean-Marc Pontroué, that was published by magazine de la Haute Horlogerie.
